Wright State University Lake Campus seeks applicants for the position of Academic Advisor in Student Services.
Position duties include comprehensive proactive academic advising that facilitates student academic success, retention, and timely movement to degree while assisting students with adjustments and decisions about fields of study, curricular and course selections, career opportunities, and academic and administrative procedures, policies and services.
The ideal candidate will utilize outreach strategies to enhance advisor/student communications, motivation and relationship building. Monitor student academic progress through a variety of technical systems and implements high impact proactive advising techniques and intervention/referral strategies that promote student growth and success.Required Qualifications:
