About the Clinician's WorkdayThe physician will provide inpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation coverage on day shifts, managing approximately 6-12 patients per day with 2-3 new admissions per day. The caseload includes patients recovering from stroke, hip fractures, spinal cord compression, amputations, CABG, debility, and critical illness myopathy. Coverage is required on both weekdays and weekends as scheduled, with no call obligations associated with this assignment. Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
